Big visions are everywhere. I help with the first step.
For leaders and teams whose concept is in place but whose beginning is missing: together we clarify where you stand, what the vision concretely means for you and what comes first.

How the first step comes about
We work backwards: we start from the vision, the goal, and step back to today's open question. With Collaborative Modelling we make visible what everyone knows but nobody says out loud, and agree on the first step together.
How a clarity workshop works
- ConversationIn 30 minutes, with no obligation, we clarify what it is about and whether a workshop is the right way.
- PreparationAgree on goal, participants and open questions so the right people with the right knowledge are in the room.
- WorkshopModelling together at the wall: making the starting point, the goal and the obstacles visible.
- OutcomeA shared picture of the situation, prioritised first steps and clear responsibilities.
- Follow-upDocumentation of the results and, if you like, support for the first steps.
I offer clarity workshops through TechTalk. What is discussed in the workshop stays confidential.
Other ways I help
Besides clarity workshops, I support teams and organisations in these formats:
- Collaborative Modelling & EventStormingFrom strategy workshops to domain boundaries: making implicit knowledge visible, surfacing assumptions and risks early.
- Architecture assessmentsChecking system health and evolvability, looking at technology and collaboration alike.
- Training & technical coachingFor teams, architects and leaders. And hands-on: I still write code.
What I stand for
I think of software, organisation and people as one – a sociotechnical system. I help organisations set themselves up as networks of people and AI that learn and decide together. A colleague calls me the untangler: I listen, visualise and loosen what has got stuck.
AI has the strongest amplifying effect where people work towards shared goals. I see leadership as Host Leadership: opening spaces, inviting people, sharing responsibility. That’s how change happens that lands, has impact and lasts.
